A full day tour of the Sacred Valley, formed by the Vilcanota (Urubamba river). It begins in the village of Pisac, with its famous market and Inca Ruins. The site is known for its extensive agrarian terraces. At Pisaq Market we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of their inhabitants and bargain with vendors where you can find a variety of handicrafts. Then we head to the city of Urubamba where we will have a lunch. After lunch, the tour continues to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo (known as the Living Inca town), which was an important administrative centre that probably also fulfilled military functions, as suggested by its walls and turrets. Return to Cusco and visit en route Chinchero knows as the city of the Rainbow. Is a small and rustic town, unique for its Spanish buildings and its past as an important agricultural center during the Tahuantinsuyo (Inca Empire).
